We're Bucket Fillers!
I am so happy and proud to announce that my students and I are now Bucket Fillers! We are striving to make our classroom and Finley School a more positive place. Our objective is to become bucket fillers and not bucket dippers.
Bucket fillers are kind, considerate, and generous. Bucket dippers are bullies that are rude, mean, and selfish. We fill one another's buckets daily by saying or doing kind things. We are also learning appropriate ways to deal with those who dip into our buckets. The goals of this program are to teach students to:
* Put others' feelings ahead of their own.
* Decrease incidences of bullying.
* Take responsibility for their actions.
* Help create a safe, warm, and caring environment
